Reading Interventionist

• Targeted Intervention: Deliver specialized, evidence-based reading interventions ( phonics, comprehension, fluency) to students identified as needing intensive support following Fastbridge screenings.
• Assessment and Data: Administer diagnostic assessments, analyze data, and create intervention groups.  
  
• Progress Monitoring:   Schedule student progress monitoring and lead grade level progress monitoring meetings.  
• Family Communication: Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress. 

• Science of Reading: Deep understanding of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.  
• MTSS Expertise: Experience implementing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) 
• Certifications: Reading Specialist endorsement, LETRS trained
• Specialized Instruction: Ability to provide intervention for diverse learners, including English Learners and students with IEPs.

 Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
