Hoxie Junior/Senior High Highlights:

1. NWKTC Welding certificate option for Juniors and Seniors
2. Eligible Seniors participate in internships during school hours with partnering businesses in their area of interest
3. Dual Credit available to all Juniors and Seniors through Colby Community College & Northwest Kansas Technical College
4. Junior High students are exposed to various exploration classes including Ag, FACS, Computers, Industrial Arts, Business and Creative Writing
5. Nine CTE Pathways that aid in a smooth transition to secondary education and/or workforce opportunities
6. Greenhouse that students are responsible for and grow plants to sell to the community
7. STUCO runs a successful coffee and snack bar with the proceeds going back to student organizations
8. Special Education and 7-12 General Education classroom teachers work hard to break down stereotypical barriers so that all students are included academically and socially
9. Newly remodeled library that provides comfortable areas for studying and socializing

USD 412 operates a year-round daycare, with priority given to our teachers and staff. If daycare is at capacity, teachers and staff are given priority on the waitlist.

USD 412 is looking for a full time Band and Vocal Music Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Other supplemental positions available but not required.
