USD 461 pays $540 a month towards a single health insurance policy which includes dental coverage and $740 a month on all policies beyond a single. They offer a comprehensive Section 125 benefit package as well as sick, personal, and bereavement leave per our Negotiated Agreement which can be found on our district website.  A new Early Learning Center is now open and teachers receive 50% off tuition for the care of their children ages two weeks to five years old.

Salary is based on experience.

USD 461 Neodesha is a 3A school district located in Southeast Kansas. This progressive community has approximately 2,500 citizens and is located on Highway 75 in Wilson County. Classes are held in a PK-3 facility, a 4-6 facility, and a 7-12 facility. The current district enrollment is approximately 700 students. Neodesha has several supportive education foundations for students and staff. USD 461 provides a quality education for all of our students. 

The Neodesha Promise Scholarship Program is designed to enhance Neodesha students preparation for successfully completing their chosen secondary education path.
