USD 461 pays $540 a month towards a single health insurance policy which includes dental coverage and $740 a month on all policies beyond a single. We offer a comprehensive Section 125 benefit package as well as sick personal professional and bereavement leave as per the negotiated agreement which can be found on our district website. Tuition at the Early Learning Center is half off for school district employees for their babies and young children.

Salary is based on level of education and years of experience. The current base pay is $47,500.

USD 461 Neodesha is a 3A school district located in Southeast Kansas. This progressive community has approximately 2,500 citizens and is located on Highway 75 in Wilson County. Classes are held in a PK-3 facility, a 4-6 facility, and a 7-12 facility. The current district enrollment is approximately 700 students. Neodesha has several supportive education foundations for students and staff. USD 461 provides a quality education for all of our students. 

The Neodesha Promise Scholarship Program is designed to enhance Neodesha students preparation for successfully completing their chosen secondary education path.
