Benefits Information USD 461 pays $540 per month towards a single health insurance policy that includes dental and $740 per month on all policies beyond single. We offer a comprehensive Secion 125 benefit package as well as sick, personal, and bereavement leave per our Negotiated Agreement which can be found on our district website. Our Early Learning Center for children ages two weeks to five years old is thriving, and teachers receive a 50% discount.
Salary Information The current base pay is $48,500 and increases based on years of experience and education per our salary schedule.
Employer Information USD 461 Neodesha is a 3A school district located in Southeast Kansas. This progressive community has approximately 2,500 citizens and is located on Highway 75 in Wilson County. Classes are held in a PK-3 facility, a 4-6 facility, and a 7-12 facility. The current district enrollment is approximately 700 students. Neodesha has several supportive education foundations for students and staff. USD 461 provides a quality education for all of our students.
The Neodesha Promise Scholarship Program is designed to enhance Neodesha students preparation for successfully completing their chosen secondary education path. The Promise will cover tuition and mandatory fees for up to 120 credit hours for a Bachelors/60 hours for an Associates Degree and/or Technical Certificate at any Pell Grant approved institution, for students who live within the district boundaries.
