An Industrial Arts Teacher is responsible for educating students in practical, hands-on skills related to industrial and technological fields, such as woodworking, metalworking, drafting, electronics, and manufacturing. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment, fostering creativity, and developing students' technical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary Information

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications, as outlined in the USD 241 Negotiated Agreement. The base salary for the 2024-2025 school year is $45,300 plus benefits. Tuition reimbursement is available for teachers as well.

The K-12 enrollment is around 200 students. Grades 6-12 have 1:1 technology while the K-5 have iPads for their technology needs.  Students` activities include volleyball, cross country, football, basketball, track and field, golf, NHS, Scholar’s Bowl, Forensics, cheerleading, pep band, and vocal.
