Wallace County Schools, USD 241 currently has an opening for a K-12 Music teacher for the 2024-25 school year.

This position will allow you to build a great music program in our district.  We are looking for an individual who will bring excitement for music to our school.  This position can be adjusted to fit the student and instructor's needs.  The applicant will be responsible for multiple concerts and performances throughout the school year.  Additionally, you will get the chance to work one-on-one with students and with small groups to prepare them for competition.  USD 241 has a mentoring program for new teachers that gives valuable feedback and guidance through the first years of teaching.  Finally, you will join an exceptional team that cares immensely for a high-quality educational experience for the students at USD 241.


 

Benefits Information

$5100 fringe ($425) per month used at the discretion of the employee.

Salary Information

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications, as outlined in the USD 241 Negotiated Agreement. The base salary for the 2023-2024 school year is $44,400 plus benefits. Tuition reimbursement is available for teachers as well.

The K-12 enrollment is around 200 students. Grades 6-12 have 1:1 technology while the K-5 have iPads for their technology needs.  Students` activities include volleyball, cross country, football, basketball, track and field, golf, NHS, Scholar’s Bowl, Forensics, cheerleading, pep band, and vocal.
