Lincoln Memorial Elementary is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster foundational literacy and numeracy skills, support social-emotional development, and create an engaging classroom environment that supports the whole child.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with Kansas state standards

• Implement research-based literacy and math practices to support early learning development

• Create a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and collaboration

• Use assessment data to guide instruction and support student growth

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities

• Collaborate with grade-level teams, intervention staff, and support personnel

• Support school initiatives including MTSS, family engagement, and social-emotional learning
