DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach content and skills in English language, literature, and composition, as well as in reading, to secondary students, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education, and other appropriate learning activities as guidelines in teaching individual course content.
Benefits Information Health Insurance: The district offers multiple options for health insurance to full-time employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield. The district pays a fringe of $440/Month for a Single Plan, $465 a month for an employee/spouse plan, $465 a month for an employee/children plan, and $500/month for a family plan for the 24-25 school year. District 125 Cafeteria Plan: The district provides this option to its employees. 403(b) Plan with Security Benefit: The district will match up to $75 per month per teacher. Any fees associated with the plan are paid by the district. Sick Leave: Each teacher may accumulate a maximum of 60 days of sick leave at the rate of 10 days for each year of the first three consecutive years of employment. USD 239 will pay the sum of $45 for each unused sick leave day. Professional Leave: The building principal may approve a maximum of two days of professional leave per fiscal year per faculty member for the purpose of attending educational conferences or educational visitations.
