Primary Purpose:Direct and manage the school's operations. The Principal provides professional leadership in organizing, administering, supervising, and evaluating a creative school program. To accomplish these tasks, the Principal works closely with the community, staff, and administration of the district. Qualifications:Education/Certification(s)/License(s):Masters degree from an accredited universityValid required Kansas professional licensureMust maintain a current Kansas driver's licenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of school and building operationsWorking knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectivenessAbility to manage budget and personnelAbility to implement policy and proceduresAbility to interpret dataExcellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skillsExperience:Three years of experience as a classroom teacherMinimum of three years of experience as a building administrator preferred
