High School Art Instructor

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Requires a bachelors degree in art education from an accredited university and a valid Kansas teaching license and endorsements as required for K-12 arts education. Successful candidate must have the ability to speak clearly and audibly to various groups expressing ideas in a logical and forthright manner; Possess composition skills suitable for producing written communication for a variety of readers; Ability to quickly analyze a situation and provide prompt advice; Ability to manage job responsibilities while meeting established deadlines; and ability to manage job responsibilities while meeting established deadlines. Previous experience in teaching K-12 Art or student-teaching experience is required.
