JOB TITLE:  Kansas MTSS and Alignment, Manager of Training Logistics


DEPARTMENT:  Kansas Multi-Tier System of Supports and Alignment (MTSS)


LOCATION:  Keystone Learning Services


REPORTS TO:  Kansas MTSS and Alignment Directors


Overall Responsibilities:
This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. The ideal candidate will
support the Kansas MTSS and Alignment Directors and State Trainers in providing quality
professional development to School District personnel statewide. They will be responsible for
overseeing all aspects of training logistics, some travel logistics, and maintaining a system for
management of training materials for state and district teams access.
 

Essential Functions:
Manage training logistics for Kansas MTSS and Alignment and Kansas Math Project
trainings
Secure venues
Manage verification and reconciliation processes
Schedule new employee on-boarding process
Schedule employee exit process
Create agendas
Support trainings in person when necessary
Maintain Project documents
Build, maintain, and sustain appropriate professional relationships with colleagues and
clients
 

Marginal Functions:
Participate in development and support of educational projects identified by KSDE at request
of Special Education and Title Services Team or Project Leadership
Pursue professional development that supports the goals of the Project and the essential
functions of the position
Carry out other duties as assigned
 

Consults With:
Kansas MTSS and Alignment Project Leadership and Staff
School District and Building Administrators and Staff
TASN Staff
Renowned Consultants, Authors, Researchers, Etc.
Kansas State Department of Education, Special Educational and Title Services Team

Qualifications:
Possess experience in organizing trainings, events, meetings, etc.
Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
Possess the ability to work efficiently autonomously
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate attention to detail
Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with an ability to
adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Requirements of the Position:
Regular travel (approximately 30%) across the state of Kansas
Approximately 15% overnight travel
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Office 365, Google Suite, Adobe, etc.)
Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form
Ability to lift and transfer up to 40 pounds
 

Terms of Employment:          
12-month contract to be completed between July 1st and June 30th.  Salary will be based upon
qualifications and experience.
 

Evaluation:
Job performance will be reviewed by the Kansas MTSS and Alignment Directors with input
from Keystone Learning Services Executive Director.

We also hire special education administrators to assist schools with planning, training, and supervision all staff and oversee compliance monitoring. The member districts are located in the beautiful countryside surrounding Lake Perry including portions of Douglas, Jackson, Jefferson, and Atchison Counties. 

 

In addition to special education services for the member districts, Keystone also provides services including:  Tiny K programs in 7 counties, internet and technology services, comprehensive staff development, Parents as Teachers in 21 school districts, hosts WebKIDSS IEP Consortium, John Dewey Learning Academy, and fiscal manager of KSDE Technical Assistance System Network (TASN), Autism and Tertiary Behavior Support (ATBS), and Kansas MTSS.
