The mission of Educate Kansas is twofold: we help teachers find their ideal teaching jobs in Kansas and we help districts find highly qualified and motivated educators. 

By providing resources to teachers, our aim is to make professional development, financial aid, and job searching more accessible so that current and prospective educators are able to fulfill their ambitions to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

By creating a single source for job postings in Kansas, districts throughout the state are able to connect a wider range of teachers to satisfy the needs of their schools and continue to support their communities with great talent. 

Our Vision for the Students of Kansas

Teachers are the bedrock of Kansans realizing their full potential. The Kansas vision for education calls for a more student-focused system that provides support and resources for individual success and will require everyone to work together to make it a reality.

We see a successful high school graduate in Kansas as having the academic and cognitive preparation, technical and employability skills, and civic engagement to be successful in postsecondary education and attaining industry-recognized certification in the workforce. 

To measure progress toward this, the Kansas State Board of Education has identified the following outcomes:

• Social-emotional growth measured locally
• Kindergarten readiness
• Individual Plans of Study (IPS) focused on career interest
• High school graduation rates
• Postsecondary completion/attendance

This can only be achieved with talented, highly engaged teachers, like you. As a teacher, you’ll develop the individual relationships critical to learning and deliver rigorous, relevant learning experiences to ensure students have the skills needed to be successful long after high school.
