Montezuma, Kansas is located 25 miles southwest of Dodge City. A small community of 900+ people, we are in an Interlocal Agreement with Copeland, Kansas, located 11 miles west of Montezuma. Both communities serve their respective grade school students, while Copeland serves both communities with South Gray Junior High (grades 6-8) and Montezuma serves both communities with South Gray High School (grades 9-12).
