Leavenworth Regional Catholic School System - Immaculata High School

The Leavenworth Regional Catholic School System (LRCSS) is a PreK - 12 Catholic school system located in Leavenworth, KS.  Xavier Catholic School is one of 37 elementary (PreK - 8) schools operated under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.  Immaculata High School is one of 7 high schools in the Archdiocese.  Students come primarily from six parishes in the Leavenworth area, inlcuding St. Ignatius Parish of Ft. Leavenworth. 

The LRCSS will cultivate an environment in which our students become disciples and friends of Jesus Christ in a learning environment of faith, respect, and reason.  We will be the school of choice for students, parents, and educators.  We will offer a challenging and innovative academic curriculum that develops the gifts and talents of all of our children, by encouraging them to strive for excellence in every aspect of their educational experience.  We will teach our students to be critical thinkers, productive citizens, and spiritual leaders who serve our Church and our local communities.

Immaculata is a small, Catholic high school located in the heart of downtown Leavenworth, Kansas. Imac has a strong tradition of a quality, faith-based educational opportunity for a diverse population of students.  With its close proximity to Fort Leavenworth, nearly 25% of our student population is military affiliated.  The greatest majority of the students, however, come from a long line of Catholic families from the Leavenworth and surrounding communities who seek college-prepatory curriculum in a safe environment that emphasizes sound discipline and Christian morals. 

We have a faculty of 15 teachers for a student population of approximately 100 total students in grades 9-12.  Students of Immaculata can gain dual credit in upper-level courses through a partnership with the University of Saint Mary.  Imac offers a variety of extra-curricular and athletic opportunities which include cooperative agreements with area public schools.
