Stanton County USD 452

The town of Johnson is located in far southwest Kansas. USD 452 is a KSHSAA 2A district with 238 students in the Pre-K thru 6th; & 189 students 7th-12th. 

Certified Staff: 2023-2024 base salary is $43,050. Benefits include paid time off days. District reimburses college hours and allows the user to advance on the pay scale. The district provides a one-time stipend of $1,000 for ESL endorsed, certified staff. The district provides single health insurance coverage.

All buildings are air-conditioned, and the High School has an indoor pool. Student/teacher ratio is approximately 16/1. Every 7th through 12th-grade student has a Chromebook, as well as Chromebooks in the Elementary classrooms.  Each teacher has been provided a personal Chromebook. Possible sponsorships and supplemental contracts available. Computer labs/internet access in each building.
