USD 223, Barnes-Hanover-Linn is  located in Northeast Kansas, about 60 miles north of Manhattan, Kansas. The District has two Class 1A, K-12 Attendance Centers located in Linn, Kansas and  in Hanover, Kansas. The Administrative Office is located in Barnes, Kansas. The District is a member of Greenbush Service Center, Twin Lakes Educational Coop, and affiliated with both the Blue Valley and Twin Valley Leagues.
