Northeast USD 246 is a 500 student school district in the northeast corner of Crawford County, Kansas that operates using a 4 day school week. The district`s two schools (PK-8 & 9-12) are located in the town of Arma.  The schools also serve the communities of Arcadia, Franklin and Mulberry.

Arma is located on US Highway 69, 10 minutes north of Pittsburg, home of Pittsburg State University and a high quality YMCA. Arma also has quick and easy access to the Kansas City, Branson and Grand Lake areas.

Excellent Salary schedule with 2020-2021 base of $40,000. Full single BC / BS health and dental plan is paid by the district and many affordable family options are available through the Greenbush Health Insurance Trust program in which we participate.
