Easton USD 449

Unified School District #449, located in Easton, Kansas, serves a beautiful, rural community only minutes from Leavenworth, Lansing, Lawrence, and the Legends shopping and entertainment district.  Surrounded by the rolling hills of northeast Kansas, our 650 students attend three attendance centers, Pleasant Ridge Elementary School K-5, Pleasant Ridge Middle School 6-8, and Pleasant Ridge High School 9-12.  USD 449 also supports students seeking to engage their passion through courses offered at Highland Community College Technical Center. 

Students in USD 449 compete nationally in Future Business Leaders of America and Future Farmers of America competitions, have won the $50,000 Battle of the Brains competition, and Pleasant Ridge Elementary School was named 2017 National Distinguished Title I School.
