Douglass USD 396 is accepting applications for 6-12th grade Math teacher with the possibility of computer application instruction. 

 Teaching Responsibilities (not limited to):

  1. Teacher oversees safe and orderly classrooms
  2. ensures student achievement for all student groups
  3. building positive school/community relations
  4. leads the students in developing constructive peer and student/teacher relations
  5. oversees effective and efficient student performance; practices responsible fiscal, facility and resource management
  6. models positive professional attributes.

Teaching Requirements:

  1. A valid building level/subject area license issued by the Kansas State Board of education.  
  2. Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with others, including the ability to communicate effectively with a broad number of audiences. 
  3. Ability to manage job responsibilities and meet the established district outcomes.  
  4. Ability to use district-identified computer hardware and software, and other district-provided technology as needed.  
  5. Ability to physically adapt to the compressed time schedule of a school day and year.

Based on 2022-23 Negotiated Agreement (base salary $44 095)
