Position: Daycare Employee

Location: Waverly Grade School, Waverly, Kansas

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare

- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and playtime

- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow

- Collaborate with other daycare staff to plan and implement educational and recreational activities

- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their children`s progress and well-being

- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment

- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or similar setting

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in children`s well-being

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively

- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Ability to pass background checks and meet all state and local licensing requirements
