Part-time Occupational Therapist for 2024-2025

Kaw Valley School district is hiring a part-time, 1-2 days per week, Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year to serve students Early Childhood through 12th-grade students.

Job responsibilities will vary based on either position but generally include: 

*Oversee the Occupational Therapy services for Kaw Valley School District.

*Supervision of COTAs. 

*Complete observations, provide direct and indirect services and participate in Child Find activities.

*Evaluations, eligibility reports, write treatment programs, IEP goals, progress reports, re-assess students as needed.

*Attend student staffing meetings, and participate in IEP meetings.

*Maintain files and/or records to ensure compliance with state, federal, and administrative regulations.

*Maintain professionalism, and confidentiality, and work in a supportive small community environment.

*Performs other related work as required.

 

Qualifications:

Holds or is eligible for certification by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.

Maintains professionalism with families, staff, and students.
