Bluestem Schools USD 205 has a vacancy for an ELEMENTARY teacher at Bluestem Elementary School (Grades PreK-6) for the 2024-2025 school year. www.usd205.com

Bluestem Schools has a thriving agriculture program that begins with the Bluestem Elementary Ag Academy that is housed in our campus barn. FFA continues to grow at the jr/sr high school level. The district`s store front business, "The Bluestem Mercantile," is used to showcase and sell our agriculture and vocational products to the public. We are looking for an energetic and ambitious teacher who is ready to be a part of a team that creates hope and success for every child.

Bluestem is a rural school district in eastern Butler County Kansas.  Despite the rural nature of this scenic 350 square mile school district, it lies less than 30 minutes from all of the suburban hustle and bustle on the east side of Wichita, KS.  

Bluestem schools adopted a 4-day school week in 2010.  

Bluestem operates one 7-12 jr/sr high school and one PK-6 elementary school.

Bluestem Schools implemented a K-12 - 1 to 1 iPad project in the 2012-13 school year.
