K-12 Music TeacherRural Vista USD 481 • www.usd481.org USD 481 -Rural Vista is seeking a K-12 Music Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Rural Vista is comprised of two K-12 schools, Hope Schools and White City Schools. Both schools are located on Hwy 4 and are within driving distance of Manhattan, Salina, Junction City, Topeka, Emporia, and Wichita. If you like small town living with big city access, then Rural Vista is the place for you. With our 9:1 student to teacher ratio, we offer a great learning experience and opportunity for every student. The right candidate would provide music courses for students in grades K-12 for both Hope and White City. The school has a plethora of musical instruments and sheet music to be used by the new teacher in the development of the music program. This would be a traveling position with a school vehicle provided to go from one location to the other. Rural Vista also has a number of coaching opportunities and class sponsorships available. Benefits Information We currently offer $485 towards a single health plan through Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Hope and White City schools are in a cooperative agreement for all athletic teams including; Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Track and Scholars Bowl. The Rural Vista Heat is a member of the Wheat State League. Both boys and girls teams have had tremendous success since the co-op began just over 10 years ago, with multiple State tournament berths.
