Maur Hill Mount Academy is searching for talented, passionate, and caring faculty members to join our growing team.  A leader in Catholic education, MHMA has the distinct opportunity to educate young men and women in the Benedictine tradition through a comprehensive curriculum where we Pursue the Truth through an Integrated Liberal Arts Curriculum with a Catholic Worldview and a Heart for Jesus Christ. 

For full consideration, all candidates must have or be willing to obtain a Kansas teaching license in the licensed areas in which they are expected to teach.  In partnership with Benedictine College, qualified content experts (with the minimum of a completed bachelors degree in the specific subject sought) may be eligible for a service opportunity grant that includes housing, meals, and tuition scholarships to complete licensure pedagogy through the Restricted Licensure Masters degree program. 

The school operates on a modified block schedule and utilizes a house system.  We are currently in the process of updating our core curriculum which will allow us to expand our electives offerings to include additional courses in STEM areas, helping professions, fine and performing arts, and leadership.  

Maur Hill Mount Academy is a domestic and international boarding school that also supports the needs and families of the local community and surrounding areas.

Part-time positions include (which may be combined into full time positions with needs in other areas):

Music (Instrumental and/or Choir)

Religion

Communications (which may include debate and/or forensics)

Prefects (residence hall supervisors)

World languages (Spanish)
