McLouth USD 342 is a 2A school district conveniently located between Lawrence, Kansas City , and Topeka. The campus houses over 500 students in one attendance center with an average classroom size of 12.8 students (secondary) and 15.9 students (elementary). The district is part of the Northeast Kansas Educational Service Center (Keystone), John Dewey Learning Academy, and Washburn Institute of Technology.
Together with school, families, and community, we are committed to student success. All Bulldogs in middle and high school are provided with a chromebook through our one to one initiative. The district recently completed a 3.425 million dollar bond issue for facility improvements including a new kitchen/cafeteria, storm shelter/early childhood center and track.
