The Burlingame School District, USD 454, is seeking a Secondary Intervention Teacher. The applicant must have a sound foundation of training in the instructional area of reading and be a proponent of the Science of Reading philosophy. LETRS training would be required and could be acquired after acquisition of the position. The candidate should have keen interpersonal skills, competent classroom management skills, and be highly versed in instructional strategies that are highly engaging to students.

Salary Information

First year teaching salary was $43,000 plus benefits for the 2023-2024 school year. Negotiations are in process for 2024-2025 school year. Salary is based upon additional learning and experience. Supplemental coaching positions and/or sponsorships may be available.
