Health Aide

Position Purpose: 

Perform delegated selected nursing tasks or procedures in the school setting under the supervision of the roving registered professional nurse. 

Qualifications: 

1. High School diploma or higher; First Aid/CPR/AED certification 
2. State or National Certification in a health care occupation preferred
3.  Minimum of two (2) years health related work experience 
4. Dependable in attendance and observance of duty hours 
5. Excellent psychological/social, communication and computer technology skills 
6. Physical stamina to respond to emergencies 
7. Maintain confidentiality, apply new concepts quickly, adapt easily to change, and demonstrate a high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
8.  Ability to work independently within established guidelines.
