Position open until filled. Key Responsibilities: Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate daily PE instruction for all K-5 students. Develop and implement a structured, standards-aligned PE curriculum focused on physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Maintain a highly organized classroom environment, including equipment management, lesson planning, and daily scheduling. Adapt activities to meet diverse student needs and abilities, ensuring all students can participate safely and meaningfully. Track participation, progress, and student needs; communicate concerns or successes with staff and families as needed. Work closely and cooperatively with classroom teachers, support staff, and administration to support whole-child development. Promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel supported, safe and motivated. Assist with school-wide events, wellness initiatives, and extracurricular activities when appropriate. Uphold all district policies regarding student safety, supervision, and professional conduct. Qualifications: Must have a KSDE teaching license with an endorsement in Physical Education. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced daily schedule. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
