Greenbush - The Education Service Center is seeking applications for a Facilities & Technology Manager at Russell Child Development Center in Southwest, KS.

Anticipated start date: June 1, 2023. Position will remain open until filled.

Job Summary: The Facilities and Technology Manager is responsible for the successful coordination of facilities, vehicle, and technology maintenance, inventory, and organization of the RCDC warehouse. Develop and maintain a Building safety plan, including fire and tornado drills—upkeep of fleet vehicles & safety supplies. Assist and design implementation of new building projects and assist in maintaining existing projects.

Qualifications
Required:
Job-related experience within the specialized field is required.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Valid driver’s license for employment.
Successful completion of Defensive Driving course, provided by RCDC.
Background Clearance.

Preferred:
Associates Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- Work with Executive Director to develop systems and processes that support the RCDC facilities, vehicle fleet, and  technology functions for the organization.
- Work on special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all technology, including oversight of the technology room.
- Maintain the daily upkeep and functionality of the RCDC breakroom and kitchen, including restocking supplies.
- Assist with inventory, including unloading, organizing, and checking all invoices with the Purchase Order.
- Maintain an organized warehouse, including the breakdown of boxes and recycling bins oversight.
- Order, maintain, and organize an inventory of supplies and materials, ensuring items’ availability.
- Contribute to maintaining the RCDC Building Handbook and keeping it current.
- Develop and maintain a Fire and Tornado Drill schedule; implement and document all drills.
- Raise and lower the flag daily; honor and follow all national directives for flying the flag correctly.
- Under the direction and approval of the Executive Director, coordinate all facility repairs and maintenance (e.g., landscape & sprinkler system, heating & air-conditioning, custodial crew, office equipment.)
- Serve as a liaison with the phone and internet provider to support staff and efficiency in office functions.
- Assist with preparing and set-up of meetings and events, project logistics, and other identified priorities.
- Assist with the maintenance of office equipment and arrange for repairs of agency technological equipment.

- Maintain strict confidentiality as outlined by FERPA and HIPAA.
- Ability to work alone and in groups to provide services.
- Assume responsibility for individual professional growth by staying current with research and practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in effectively and regularly communicating with other employees of RCDC and clients.
- Complete all assignments timely, including communication with other staff and clients or contractors.
- Follow all safety requirements as directed by RCDC.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.

Physical Requirements:
- 60 % sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing
- Lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Manage all job duties with mobility, agility, and dexterity.
- Sit/stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to drive in varying weather and geographical conditions.
- The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard-free environment.
