Silver Lake USD 372 is a rural school district located in northwest Shawnee County. Silver Lake is approximately 50 miles from Lawrence- Manhattan- and Emporia.
The district is a 3A system with approximately 720 students and two attendance centers- PreK-6 and 7-12. Most of our staff hold advanced degrees and live within the community; however- Topeka is a short 15 - 20 minute drive away. The district has high expectations for students and staff and is the home to over 60 state championships in curricular and extracurricular activities. The community is highly supportive of all student programs and focuses on providing a comprehensive program of instruction to meet the varied needs of all students.
