School Counselor Grades 4-8

Santa Fe Trail USD 434 is accepting applications for grades 4-8 counselor at Carbondale Attendance Center / Santa Fe Trail Jr. High for the 2023-2024 school year.   
 

Counselor: Carbondale Attendance Center in Santa Fe Trail School District - USD 434 is seeking a dynamic School Counselor to join the CAC family. The right candidate will design and implement a comprehensive school counseling program to address the needs of all of our students. This includes providing acute emotional support to students and staff, implementing preventative supports, and delivering large group face-to-face instruction to students as needed. Other duties include creating the master schedule with administrators and coordinating supports with parents and other service providers. Kansas certification including K-12 Counselor endorsement (or the ability to secure this endorsement in a timely manner) is required. Experience in middle level counseling and a track record of using PowerSchool a plus.
