High School Math (Potential)Golden Plains USD 316 • usd316.k12.ks.us USD 316 Golden Plains is accepting applications for a potential high school math teacher at Golden Plains Middle/High School for the 2023-2024 school year. Qualified applicants will hold a Kansas teaching license or be eligible to complete an alternate licensure pathway, such as Transition to Teach. Supplemental coaching and sponsorship opportunities are available but not required. Benefits Information Golden Plains provides a paid single health insurance plan. Teachers are awarded 13 discretionary days per school year.
Salary Information Salary will be based upon the negotiated agreement. A $1000 premium payment is scheduled for October 2023 for all staff members.
Employer Information Golden Plains USD 316 provides a quality education to approximately 150 students in northwest Kansas. Golden Plains operates two school buildings: Golden Plains Elementary (preschool - 5th) in Selden and Golden Plains Middle/High School (6th - 12th) in Rexford. Little Paws Daycare in Selden is also operated by the school district. Golden Plains has a welcoming and accepting environment where students from diverse backgrounds find encouragement and belonging. We pride ourselves on having high academic standards for all students. Our committed and experienced staff is currently working with Kansas MTSS. We have full implementation of MTSS reading and behavior social emotional learning (BSEL) support and a plan for implementation of math. Golden Plains has a district wide 1:1 initiative. Our preschool - 3rd grade students use ipads, and our 4th - 12th grade students utilize chromebooks. In addition to the required course work, our district offers many elective course opportunities and a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
