Under the direction of the school principal, the teacher is responsible for the education of assigned students and will create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth.. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the teacher must work closely with other staff, the administration, and other programs of Dodge City Public Schools.

Qualifications:

1.  Bachelor`s Degree in Education from an accreditited college/university.

2.  Hightly Qualified under No Child Left Behind preferred.

3.  Current Kansas Teaching Certificate or license on file in the Central Office.

4.  Kansas Certification or Health Certification on file in the Central Office. (after employment offer is made).

5.  Desire to continue career improvement.
