If this describes you, High Plains Educational Cooperative is accepting applications for gifted facilitator.  Gifted Facilitator: Provides individual or small group instruction for students identified as gifted.  Gifted Facilitators support children with exceptionalities in the general education curriculum in consultation to support students in the least restrictive environment.  Facilitators assess students to assist in determining student performance and appropriate services.

We believe in family friendly practices, research based strategies and an emphasis on Response to Intervention. Other duties include completing assessments, supervision of Paraprofessionals, assisting classroom teachers, participating in IEP team meetings, interacting with parents and maintaining adequate records as required.

Applicants must have a valid Kansas Teaching License. If your are interested in becoming a gifted facilitator and hold a valid license in another area, Let High Plains Educational Cooperative pay for your Special Education Endorsement or Masters Degree. HPEC will support many avenues to continue your education.
