Adaptive Special Education Teacher-2023-2024 School Year-Nemaha Central SchoolsNemaha Central USD #115 • www.usd115.org Marshall-Nemaha Educational Services Cooperative is accepting applications for a full-time Functional/Adaptive Certified Special Education Teacher to serve in our USD 115-Nemaha Central Elementary/Middle School building and will be predominately serving students in grades Kindergarten-8th grade. Applicants must currently hold or will hold by August 2023, a Kansas license with the appropriate endorsement or be willing to obtain appropriate licensure and/or be placed on a waiver.
This position requires a person who has good communication skills and can work effectively with staff, students, and parents. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: IEP writing, consulting with teachers, building administrators, and parents; maintaining adequate records as required, the provision of services in the regular and special education settings, and collecting data for decision-making.
