K-12 Guidance Counselor / At-Risk CoordinatorCrest Unified School District No. 479 • www.usd479.org Crest Unified School District No. 479 is seeking applicants for the position of K-12 Guidance Counselor / At-Risk Coordinator. Responsibilities for this position will include the following: The enrollment and management of student schedules within the Student Information System (PowerSchool). PowerSchool training at the applicants learning pace will be provided, if necessary. The management of the KCCMS system. Training will be provided if necessary. The coordination and scheduling of dual credit classes with respective post-secondary institutions. Develop and collaborate a flexible student schedule. The management of the annual ACT, ASVAB, and other national tests. State assessments and other learning platforms are handled by a dedicated testing coordinator. Collaborate with staff to maintain IPS opportunities for students. Any responsibilities typically associated with a registrar-style position. Qualifications: Valid school counselor licensure OR the ability to obtain school counselor licensure Technology proficiency is preferred Experience as a high school guidance counselor preferred Crest will provide training and assistance for all software programs and in-house processes utilized by this position. The district also provides a section 125 cafeteria plan that includes optional insurances and retirement savings plans that include a 403b option and a KPERS 457 option.
Salary Information This position is compensated based on the negotiated agreement plus 10 days. The district honors years of experience with appropriate placement on the pay scale.
