Job Description: Blue Valley Schools Executive Director - Blue Valley Educational Foundation
Purpose Statement: The Executive Director of the Blue Valley Educational Foundation provides leadership in growing the philanthropic mission to enrich educational excellence through community outreach, financial development, and ongoing funding of extraordinary educational programs. Fundraising Serves as the key leader in fund development for the Foundation with the goal of increasing revenue year over year. Works with the board of directors and staff to develop, coordinate and manage a fundraising program that includes the following components:
Sponsorships
Special Events
Annual Membership Campaign
Individual/Major Gifts
Foundation/Corporate Gifts and Grants
Payroll Donation Campaign
Capital Campaigns
Donor Recruitment, Engagement and Recognition
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in combination with extensive and relevant professional experience. License: No requirement for a license, CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification is preferred. Reports To: BVEF Board President and Deputy Superintendent of Blue Valley School District FLSA Status: Exempt
