Athletic Director

Oskaloosa USD 341 is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Athletic Director for the 2026-27 school year. 

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership, strategic planning, and policy development for the athletic program.
• Organize, implement, and oversee all operations of the Oskaloosa Schools athletic department.
• Coordinate athletic events, practices, and scrimmages including facility reservations, transportation arrangements, and officiating assignments.
• Work in conjunction with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and evaluate coaches; ensure compliance with KSHSAA standards.
• Supervise and support coaches and athletic staff to promote program excellence and adherence to district and KSHSAA policies.
• Assist with supervision of athletic activities and programs.
• Maintain open communication with the principals and school community regarding athletic programs, student achievements, and schedule updates.
