Parents as Teachers Parent Educator

Baldwin Primary Center has an opening for a full-time Parent Educator starting in July 2022. This position works closely with the PAT team and administration to provide information- support- and encouragement to parents. In this position- parent educators typically work with families in the home to help children develop optimally during the early childhood years. Late afternoon and evening work is required.
Requirements include a Bachelor`s degree from an accredited college/university and a current Kansas State teaching license. Salary is based on the District Negotiated Agreement. Completion of Parents as Teachers training is preferred.

Baldwin City Unified School District 348 is comprised of two elementary schools, one junior high school and one high school serving approximately 1420 area students.

The two elementary schools serve pre-K through grade 5; Baldwin Elementary School Intermediate Center and Primary Center are within the city limits. Also located within the city limits are the Baldwin Junior High School, serving grades 6-8, and Baldwin High School which houses grades 9-12. Both schools sit adjacent from one another.
