USD 273-Beloit has an opening for a full-time Elementary Special Education Teacher at the Transitional Learning Center in Beloit for the 2022-2023 school year.  Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Kansas teaching license.

Salary Information

Minimum starting salary for B.A. - $38,875 Minimum starting salary for M.A. - $40,913 (These salaries are based on the current salary schedule.) Credit will be given for years of teaching experience. Please contact USD 273 for additional information.

Building staff includes 41 professionals, 3 secretaries, 13 paraeducators and aides, 3 custodians, 1 maintenance worker, 1 director of buildings and grounds and 4 cooks. Average enrollment grades 7-12 is 348, with an average class size of 16 students per teacher.

Beloit School District USD #273 is the host district for the Beloit Special Education Cooperative. The Beloit Special Education Cooperative provides a full continuum of services for students with disabilities in accordance to the Individuals with Disabilities Act 2004 (IDEA-R).
