This halftime position includes beginning band, middle school band, and high school band. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to musical excellence, student engagement, and collaboration with staff, families, and the broader community. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach and direct beginning band (introductory instruction on band instruments) Lead and instruct middle school and high school concert and pep bands Prepare students for performances, including concerts, festivals, and community events Collaborate with school staff on school-wide activities and events Manage inventory, equipment, and care of school-owned instruments Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers and colleagues Uphold district and school policies, procedures, and values __________ We have coaching and sponsorship opportunities also.
