Brown County Kansas Special Education Interlocal #615 is accepting applications for a High Incidence 7-12 Special Education Instructor.

 

Applicants must currently hold, or will hold by August 2024, a Kansas license with the appropriate endorsement.  This includes provisional and waiver license applicants.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: intervention support, IEP writing, maintaining adequate records, and providing of services in the regular and special education settings.

 

Teachers are accountable to the building principal, BCK-SEI director and the BCK-SEI board of education.

Brown County Kansas Special Education Interlocal #615 provides special education services to students in USD 415, Hiawatha, and USD 430, South Brown County (Horton).  The Interlocal is surrounded by rural communities.  We are located on US 36 and in vicinity of the major communities of Omaha, Kansas City, Topeka, Manhattan, Lawrence and St. Joseph.
