The purpose of the Behavioral Health School Liaison is facilitating the implementation of a school-based behavioral health model. The liaison will be a pivotal member of the school behavioral health team that works collaboratively to address the needs of students in the foster care system, as well other students identified as needing additional behavioral health support. The work of the liaison may extend beyond the school setting to include community and residential settings.  Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred, qualified in behavior interventions, such as school counselor, school social worker, psychologist, or related field.

Current benefits are $310 applied towards Health Insurance and after one plan year of employment if enrolled in a 403b or 457 at the start of the plan year District employee match with a $30 minimum – $75 maximum; District paid term life insurance, paid leave, salary protection, voluntary life & AD&D, KPERS, and employee daycare. Rose Hill Unified School District 394 encompasses fifty-five square miles in southwest Butler and southeast Sedgwick counties in Kansas. The Rose Hill School District is a Suburban District located fifteen (15) miles southeast of Wichita, Kansas. The District was initially incorporated in 1909 and went through the unification process in 1965. The District serves its students through four centers located on one campus. The instructional nature of these buildings is Primary School, serving Early Childhood Special Education and Pre-K through 2nd grade; Intermediate School, serving 3rd through 5th grade; Middle School, serving 6th through 8th grade and a High School serving grades 9 through 12. Additionally, Butler County Community College has an education wing attached to the High School to allow for concurrent college study. Student test scores, graduation rate and accomplishments in other curricular and co-curricular areas indicate students are receiving a high-quality education. Updated facilities highlight a solid educational experience at USD 394. Upgraded stadium facilities, as well as a flow-down style gymnasium at the high school help to enhance and facilitate the curricular and co-curricular activities of our secondary students. At the beginning of the 2006-07 school year, the Early Childhood through 5th grades moved into a brand new facility on the east side of campus. The Middle School during the 2009-10 school year, moved into their building, which was remodeled and included a new addition. The District`s staff and High School students have had use of laptops through laptop initiative grants since fall of 2005. Classroom sizes are below twenty in grades Pre-K - 2 and below twenty-five in grades 3-8. The core classroom size at the High School is below thirty.
