Business Teacher - Burlington High School

USD #244 Burlington High School is looking for a business teacher who thrives in a student-centered and interactive learning environment.  This position provides a rigorous curriculum that aligns with the Kansas Department of Education's CTE Career Competencies. Burlington High School offers 16 Career Pathways including Business Finance, Business Management & Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. 

Courses taught may include Principles of Marketing, Business Essentials, Business Communication, Business Management, Sports Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Interactive Media, Accounting, and Business Law. 

Burlington High School hosts approximately 260 students with over 90% of the student body actively involved in activities and athletics.  With around 50 staff members in the school, BHS's environment allows professional collaboration, effective support, opportunities for professional growth and extra-curricular activities, and the ability to get to know all students and families.
