The Director provides leadership in secondary curriculum, instruction, assessment, and accreditation. The Director is responsible for designing and implementing curriculum; providing technical and instructional support to building administrators and staff; leading district-level initiatives; and managing assigned budgets and programs.

Certificates/Licenses/Endorsements/Registrations

  1. Kansas administrative license required
  2. Kansas teaching license required

Education and/or Experience

  1. Master’s degree in education required
  2. Experience in secondary teaching required
  3. Experience coordinating and developing curriculum preferred
  4. Deep knowledge in the areas of emerging literacy and numeracy instruction
