Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE)

The Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) supports infants/toddlers and their families in home and community based settings. Responsible for completing developmental screenings, evaluations, IFSP service planning, family coaching and team collaboration to work toward identified outcomes for each child.  Serves as a Family Service Coordinator (FSC) for assigned families. Credentials may include the following Kansas licensed professionals: Early Childhood Special Educators with Early Childhood Unified endorsement (ECU covering birth to 3), or Master's level Social Worker.  Credentials include Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education and must maintain a current teaching license with ECU covering birth to 3. Social Worker requires a licensed Master's level Social Worker. Position requires knowledge of early childhood development and delays.

 

This is a full-time position (12 month) and the salary is determined by the Special Education Cooperative's salary schedule ($49,839 - $72,348).  Position is based in Pratt, Kansas with travel required to area counties.  Valid driver`s license and satisfactory completion of a background check is required.
