Royal Valley Elementary School has an opening for an Elementary Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.  Applicants must have a valid Kansas teaching license, or be able to obtain a valid teaching license. Student teachers and May Graduates are encouraged to apply early.

Salary Information

Base salary for the current school year starts at $41,200.  Salary schedule includes steps for years of experience and college credit hours. A copy of our salary schedule can be found on our Royal Valley Website.

Employer Information

USD #337, Royal Valley, is located about 15 miles north of Topeka, Kansas on US Highway 75.  Royal Valley schools serve residents along the Highway 75 corridor in southern Jackson County, including the towns of Hoyt and Mayetta, as well as the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation.  Royal Valley High School (9-12) is located in Hoyt.  Royal Valley Middle School (5-8) is located in Mayetta, and Royal Valley Elementary School (K-4) is located in Hoyt.  The district serves about 850 students, with Royal Valley High School competing in KSHSAA class 3A.  The district has made significant investment in district facilities and technology, with a 1:1 ratio with Chromebooks for students, grades 3 - 12.  Elementary students have a 1:1 ratio with iPads.  Interested applicants may inquire by email, phone, or mail and should contact Noah Slay, Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
