Job Summary:

A passionate teacher that  is committed to creating a respectful and engaging environment that inspires the love of lifelong learning and ensures all students become powerful thinkers, effectie collaborators, and empathetic citizens in preparation for a successful future. 

 

Major Duties:

  1. Work collaboratively to provide success for students and staff.
     
  2. Work collaboratively to develop engaging lessons that help to instill Life Long Learning.
     
  3. Help students achieve by recognizing and adjusting to meet their individual needs.
     
  4. Model lifelong learning as professionals.  We will commit ourselves to the most updated staff development to better serve our students.  
     
  5. Give students the tools to be powerful thinkers, effective collaborators, and empathetic citizens outside the walls of Oakdale Elementary.
     
  6. Build relationships with parents and community in our schools.  We will use an open door policy.
     
  7. Provide an environment of clear expectations, consistent consequences, and high academic standards for each individual student.
    Make kids our number 1 priority.

Qualifications:   Proper Kansas Licensure with endorsement in K-6 Core Content MESH
