First Grade Teacher- Ellinwood Grade School

Ellinwood Public Schools USD #355 is now accepting applications for the position of First Grade Teacher at Ellinwood Grade School for the 2022-2023 school year.  The district has a need at a specific grade level but will consider any level based upon the skills, preferences, and experience of the candidates.  The district has a myriad of supplemental positions available to the candidate if he or she is so interested.  The successful candidate will also receive a laptop and iPad to accommodate and support the district`s 1:1 iPad initiative.  The district also employs a family engagement specialist that works with each student/family/teacher to enhance school-family communication/relationships and student outcomes.

The district is looking for a dynamic candidate to engage primary grade students in all facets of learning.  The district desires a person that is a team player and has a skill set in all core areas.  Having a passion for student growth and a willingness to differentiate instruction to reach each learner is a requirement.  The district is also interested in a candidate that can adapt to fluid situations and is willing to continually reflect and improve as a professional.  Priority will be given to candidates that are innovative and progressive in their methods.
